"Do you ever see someone at the gym who has desire and passion but not sure how to use it? Someone who is always there but never really sees results? Well that person was me. Every day I was hitting the weights with no REAL plan or routine just waiting and hoping for a transformation. Joe approached me asking if I would like to work out with him someday. He was a personal trainer for that gym which I didn't know at the time but Joe didn't care to tell me. Me seeing how big he was it was an easy yes! My workouts usually lasted 30-40min, a quick in and out. Joe took me through the most intense back workout. During this workout I learned the most important principle...DRIVE! After that first workout I saw Joe as "my trainer"; but workout after workout we grew closer and closer. Why? Because we found each others limits & breaking points and helped each other push pass them! That's when I started to notice improvements in my strength, physique, and mind. These workouts weren't different types of exercises that most trainers make up to make you feel like you're doing something beneficial. Joe taught me every single fundamental and made sure I had each and every one down to a "T". He THEN would up the weight, add dropsets or add slower reps. Joe also helped me improve my nutrition to really coincide with the training. He gave me a nutrition plan and kept me accountable. This was huge when it came to really seeing results! Later in January I heard about a popular power lifting competition that was scheduled for March (a little over a month later). I asked Joe if I had time to train and he said "yes, but you have to do exactly as I say". He gave me a very specific strength workout plan for that whole month of February. Following this plan to the "T" and following the nutrition plan I began training for this competition. March came by faster then I could imagine! Long story short, I won 1st place in my class!! Joe not only trained me but came out and supported me! That's the kind of man he is. He truly cares about his clients & friends success! As months went on, Joe became my mentor and developed me into a personal trainer of my own. He invested so much into me I had to pass it on to others! I am who I am because of Joe's influence in my life. I have no regrets and if you choose to train with him, you will not either! I spent 29 years of my life being complacent. I was always an active child and teenager and physical fitness was just thought of as playing outside with friends. It all came easy, and I was content with being average. That mindset quickly started disabling my body and mind over the course of my twenties. I had a good job with a lot of freedom, which for me meant, “Where’s the best lunch spot?” This mindset allowed me to pack on the pounds and increase my body fat percentage at a morbidly obese rate. I lost confidence and gained social anxiety. 

I had spent over ten years slowly killing myself being overweight and content. After countless failed ‘diets’ and unused paid gym memberships it was time for a reality check. "I was 60 years old, terribly out of shape and had not worked out regularly for many years. I was concerned because I had both of my knees replaced a few years earlier and didn’t want to do anything to hurt them. I also struggle with rheumatoid and osteo arthritis. I decided I would hire a personal trainer to keep me focused, motivated and to learn the appropriate exercises for me. Joe was assigned to work with me. “After trying many trainers over a year and a half I was introduced to Joe. I didn’t realize how little information every PT I had previously trained with knew. Not only does Joe listen to what you say but he also make sure your completely understand a movement. As Joe has very different training styles then most other people, it is a bit strange the first few times but every movement hits the muscle your looking for exactly the way you want to hit it, and if it doesn’t he will instantly change and listen to what you say as well as questions. “
